A Brief History
City Tabernacle was founded in the year 2000 by Pastors Arnold Rajan and Santhana Arnold. The church began with just 12 people in its first service and has since grown to a membership of around 220, with 5 branches. City Tabernacle is affiliated with the International Pentecostal Holiness Church (USA), a major global Pentecostal denomination.
In addition to serving as a center for fellowship, training, and counseling, the church is also actively involved in what was formerly known as the ‘Help Ministry,’ which focuses on supporting the poorer segment of the community. This ministry has since been renamed CLIA and now includes providing free education for children.
The vision and the mission of the church is explained with the acronym G.A.M.E. as explained below,

- Accelerate growth through church planting and missions involvement.
- Mobilize believers through teaching and training.
- Evangelize the lost through witnessing and social service.
The vision of the church is to have a center in all the states to be of service to the community.
